About This Blog
Welcome to the material world of Starsky and Hutch!
This blog began as a place to catalog their plaid shirts in particular, but soon expanded into an inventory of all kinds of interesting items belonging to the two heroes of the television series “Starsky & Hutch” (1975-1979). Started in June 2018, it will be a work in progress for a long time.
You can explore the cataloged items through the categories list, through the search function, or see what was new in the guys’ world, say, in February 1978. All three features are always available at the bottom of any page of this blog.
The posts are backdated to the original air date of the episode in which the item in question is first seen. This messes up some of the normal blog functions, like easily checking recent additions. I add recent additions to What’s New. You can also follow the blog by email (use the “Follow” button at the bottom of the page to do that). Then you’ll get an email notification whenever I post something new, even if it’s dated to April 30, 1975. You don’t need a WordPress account to follow the blog or to leave comments.
If there’s an item (or a category of items) you’d like me to look into, contact me and I’ll see what I can do about it – it is possible that it’s already on my looong list of stuff to catalog, and I’ll be happy to prioritize things that other people are interested in, too. And if you’re bursting with observations of your own – or corrections to something I’ve listed here – feel free to comment!

PS. This is a slash-friendly blog: while the blog is about canon facts and I try to keep the posts neutral, I don’t mind Starsky/Hutch shenanigans in comments. If a comment suggesting Starsky and Hutch share a romantic and/or sexual relationship offends you, please ignore it and simply scroll along. We are all here for our love of the TV series, whatever our personal interpretations of it are.
